A MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER
Establishing a school as a social obligation and as a response to unique requirements.
1. A vision based on personal experience
The motivation to establish a school in Geneva, Switzerland, arose from firsthand encounters with the education system. It was a profound call to action for an innovative school, grounded in principles formulated by academic research. The objective was to actively implement these concepts championed by educational experts and scientists.
2. Building a team of experts
In 2007, aware of my limitations in terms of knowledge, I put together a team with extensive expertise in the educational field. This team would be responsible for bringing the Eden School to life, an innovative school designed to welcome children from an early age. The aim would be to develop the school by putting into practice the lessons learned from the research.
3. Collaboration and flexibility
To bring research proposals to life in the field, it was essential to encourage collaboration and be open to mistakes while remaining flexible. The team was at the heart of the project, and teachers worked together to build and implement a common program. The aim was to provide children with the socio-emotional skills they need to thrive, while ensuring academic excellence.
